At Tendwell, privacy isn't a feature — it's the foundation of everything we build. We created Tendwell specifically because existing solutions violate the privacy and dignity of aging parents. We hold ourselves to the highest standard.

What We Collect

Beta signup information: When you join our waitlist, we collect your name, email, your parent's first name and approximate age, and your interest type. This is used solely to manage the beta program and communicate with you about Tendwell.

Conversation data: When your parent talks with Tendwell, we process the conversation to provide summaries and wellness insights to your family dashboard. Conversations are stored securely and associated only with your family account.

Radar sensor data: Our mmWave radar sensors detect movement patterns only — no video, no audio recording, no images. The sensor data is processed locally and only movement summaries are transmitted.

What We Never Do

We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. We never use cameras or video recording of any kind. We never record or store raw audio from conversations beyond what's needed for real-time processing. We never share your parent's health information with insurance companies, employers, or any entity without your explicit consent.

Data Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use Supabase for secure data storage with row-level security policies. Access to family data is restricted to registered family members only.

Your Rights

You can request a copy of all data associated with your family account at any time. You can request deletion of all your data at any time. You can opt out of any communications. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@gettendwell.ai.

Changes to This Policy

We'll notify all registered users by email before making any material changes to this privacy policy. The latest version will always be available on this page.
